Terzo stato finale. Maxime Lalanne, (1827-1886) nel corso della sua carriera artistica produsse oltre 200 stampe e innumerevoli disegni. La sua vasta gamma di immagini affascinò sia gli editori che i collezionisti e il suo trattato sull'acquaforte divenne uno dei testi guida sull'argomento. Lavorando a fianco dell'editore Alfred Cadart, Lalanne lavorò diligentemente per aumentare il prestigio della grafica. Come membro fondatore della Société des Aquafortistes, fu una figura centrale del revival dell'incisione, operando simultaneamente come un fine artista, un intrepido imprenditore e un insegnante. Third final state. Maxime Lalanne,(1827–1886) throughout the course of his artistic career produced over 200 prints and innumerable drawings. His wide range of imagery fascinated publishers and collectors alike and his treatise on etching became one of the guiding texts on the subject. Working alongside the publisher Alfred Cadart, Lalanne diligently worked to raise the profile of printmaking. As a founding member of the Société des Aquafortistes, he was a central figure of the etching revival, serving simultaneously as a fine artist, an intrepid entrepreneur, and a teacher.
