Descrizione
8vo., First Edition, with title-vignette, some very faint offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; terracotta cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, crisp copy in unclipped, lightly browned dustwrapper, the latter with one small loss at upper edge of front panel. Dustwrapper artwork by Rosemary Grimble. This work and 'The Flame Trees of Thika' were originally written as one book, but NS [Norah Smallwood of Chatto & Windus] advised dividing it in half. Here Huxley deals with her family's return to Kenya after the Great War. Cross and Perkin, A.26.
