8vo., First Edition, with a coloured frontispiece, 26 monochrome photographs and 14 maps, endpapers mildly browned; original grey regimental cloth, crest blocked in gilt on upper board, backstrip lettered in green, covers lightly age-soiled else a very good, clean copy. Includes a history of the Civil Service Rifle Volunteers; then 1st, 2nd and 3rd Battalions Civil Service Rifles during WWI. In 1921 the 1/15th was reconstituted as 15th Battalion London Regiment (POW Own Civil Service Rifles); in 1923 15th Battalion was amalgamated with 16th Battalion. Scarce in this condition.
