8vo., Third Edition, pages lightly browned at edges as usual original maroon ruled and lettered in black, covers a little dusty else a very good, firm copy. Plum's nineteenth book and the first of the Blandings series. It was originally published as 'Something New' (New York, September 1915), with the title changed to the present form for the first English edition one month later. Jasen observes that in the story 'Ashe Marson and George Emerson are now English, and the episode about Baxter and the paint on a shoe is omitted, having already been told in the latter part of 'Mike'. Nice early copy.
