Very clean very tight slightly foxed pages with unmarked boards, rubbing to spine ends, browned foxed page edges and bumping to lower front corner. 354pp. Autobiography of a diplomat born in London in 1841. A fascinating account of life in the 19th century and his many travels abroad. Illustrated with period photographs.
