8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece, plates and illustrations in the text, title lightly browned at edges; grey cloth, upper board and backstrip blocked and lettered in red, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly frayed at edges. Having gained immortality with his illustrations for Shaw's 'A Black Girl in Search of God', Farleigh served for six years as President of the Arts & Crafts Society. These notes, essays and lectures cover painting, engraving, textile design, book production and other related subjects.
