A beautifully decorated book, each page of text with either fine decorative initials printed in red and gilt or lovely colour large illustrations of flowers or country life, even the copyright page is entwined with gilt and red pansies. Small 4to (6.25 by 5.25 inches), in lovely original ivory cloth, the upper cover lettered in gilt and decorated holly and mistletoe in red, white, green, and gold, rear cover with a gilt and red coronet and red lettering. [36 pp., unpaginated] A charming and well preserved copy, the interior quite fresh and bright with just some spotting to the prelims, the colour illustrations vivid, the binding still very attractive with light age to the ivory cloth.
