Openings along portions of backstrip which, surprisingly, is completely present but for a few minor fragments at each end. Above-average but not excessive wear externally. Narrow opening to binding at half-title page. Back endpaper present but needs to be reglued to back board. Front endpaper similarly must be reglued to front board. Wrinkles to back board where it was partially bent. Contents unmarked and in decent condition with moderate soiling. A worthy reading copy of the scarce first edition. Book
