Larson in the months leading up to his triumph in the 1932 presidential election: "The plans you have in mind sound very interesting, so will you not get in touch with Miss Mary Dewson, head of our woman's division [.], and write her about them. I am hoping that during the progress of the campaign I shall be able to come to Iowa and thank my loyal friends, such as yourself, for their efforts in my behalf [.]". - On stationery with the Executive Mansion letterhead and signed in a bold hand. - Faint creasing, very good.
