Concentrates on Ottoman bindings that date from a period of some 75 years, from the second quarter of the 15th century to the first decade of the 16th century. Much of the emphasis of this book is on imperial patronage, for it deals in the main with works that can be associated with three successive sultans, Murad II, Mehmed II and Bayezid II.
