A PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR WITH HIS SIGNED HOLOGRAPH INSCRIPTION ON TITLE. An elegant copy of arguably the author's most famous work, the basis of Carol Reed's feature film (1940) starring Margaret Lockwood and Michael Redgrave.
