Provenance: Each volume with the engraved armorial bookplate of Charles Simeon (1759-1836), Vicar of Holy Trinity Cambridge for 54 years from 1782 until his death. Simeon, a contemporary of John Wesley, William Wilberforce and a founder member of the Church Mission Society; presentation inscription at head of title page.
