8vo., First Edition, with a collotype frontispiece (original tissue guard present), 19 fine collotype plates and 34 illustrations in the text, some mild spotting (mostly marginal) throughout; original brown cloth, upper board blocked in blind and lettered in gilt, gilt back, gilt top, uncut, case a little shaken else a good firm copy. Sold with a small quantity of relevant ephemera including a selection of trade and promotional matter from the notable trade house of Gawthorp, and a copy of the illustrated booklet 'Better Leathercraft' published by George & Co of London's Soho to record the works awarded prizes in the George 1926 Leathercraft Competition. The original edition is scarce in any condition.
