13 parts., 4to., First Edition, with very numerous coloured, tinted and monochrome plates, photographs and illustrations throughout; original pictorial wrappers, sewed as issued, yapped edges, covers lightly age-soiled, wrappers lightly frayed at extremities else a remarkably bright clean set. With very numerous trade advertisements throughout. The set comprises Vol. XXXV Nos 137-140 (January-April), Vol. XXXVI Nos 141-144 (May-August), Vol. XXXVII Nos. 145-148 (September-December) plus Extra Christmas Number. Vol. XXXV No. 140 (April 1913) has a decorative cover commemorating the visit of King George and Queen Mary to the Potteries. Very scarce in the original parts, especially in this condition.
