In Cordoba one must always visit the Mosque-Cathedral.
Sightseeing was first established in 1880 when D. Antonio Castuera obtained permission from the Cathedral-Chapter "to show foreigners the Mo-nument, and by this way make a living of it".
The editors of this book continue directing tours and the result of their professional experience are the following pages.
We would like to expose that there are already many books on the subject in our country; we have tried to form our basis on them. Excellent books, great books, too much for what a modern traveller wishes to read and remember.
We have tried to write a guide's interpretation in a style accesible of all and present an unusual graphic information. We hope with this the visitor can recall and relive this moments in our historical city.
