Disbound. = A detailed geographical and topographical work on the landmarks and archaeology of the ancient Roman province of Mauretania Tingitana, roughly present-day Morocco, with the names of settlements, rivers, mountains, etc., etc., as known from the days of the ancient Greeks until the mid-19th century. One plate show ancient monuments. Written by the French diplomat and archaeologist Charles Joseph Tissot (1828-1884). Published in the academy's Mémoires. Uncut, therefore a bit irregular at fore and bottom edges, and som marginal creasin, but overall a very good copy.
