The 24 plates of handwriting include samples from Elizabeth I, Mary Stuart, Bossuet, Racine, Frederick the Great, Voltaire, Rousseau, Benjamin Franklin (the first printed facsimile of his handwriting), and many others. These plates are among the first lithographs printed in France, the medium having been discovered a dozen years earlier. Printed on fine laid paper. 12mo.
