Graduated from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1919, he began his career as an engineer in the Anatolian railways, Ankara (Turkey) between 1927 and 1930, and in the state railways, from 1930 to 1937. Member of the International Society of Art Critics and Vice-President of the Turkish-France Cultural Association, he was awarded the Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 1962. Finally, Fuat Pekin is elected associate member of the Overseas Academy of Sciences on 05/04/1963.
