2 vols., [of 3], sm. 8vo., Third Edition, with engraved frontispieces, engraved and printed titles, and engraved maps (one double-page and coloured in outline); handsomely bound in contemporary green half morocco, marbled boards ruled in gilt, backs with five raised bands ruled in blind, second and third compartments ruled and lettered in gilt, all other compartments framed in gilt, gilt tops, uncut, marbled endpapers, both remarkably bright, crisp copies. Tragically, this copy wants Vol. III: Natural History, but the first two volumes are complete in themselves.
