8vo., First Edition, with a fine coloured frontispiece and 7 plates tinted in sepia; original regimental green cloth, boards with double blind frame borders, upper board blocked in gilt with regimental crest, uncut, neatly rebacked with original backstrip gilt laid down, original endpapers preserved, a very good, clean, firm copy. With errata leaf at end. The coloured frontispiece depicts the colours; the plates include two of uniform and two of regiment badges. Extensive appendices detail succession of officers, alphabetical roll of officers, bases, annual enrolled strengths 1758-1875 and much other information.
