The beautiful title border by Hans Holbein the younger shows Petrus on the left, Paulus on the right, the symbols of the four Evangelists in the corners, the Holy Child riding on a lion in the lower portion, the coat of arms of the city of Basel at the head, flanked by two basilisks, with a banderole "Inclyta Basilea".
