folio [36 x 28 cm]; 14 pp, 8 color maps including 2 double-page, others are full folio page, some illustrations from photos. original printed heavy paper wraps, full title on cover, small ink stain on cover, lower inner corner chipped, overall clean very good copy. A picture of this book is available upon request by email. The double-page maps are of the world and the Dominion of Canada and Newfoundland. The full page maps are of British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories (which were at the time Alberta, Saskatchewan, Assiniboia), Ontario, Quebec, Maritime Provinces. The provinces of Canada at that time were somewhat different, eg, the northern half of Quebec consisted of Ungava, northern Ontario was part of North West Territories as was most of Manitoba, while the southern third of Saskatchewan was Assiniboia, the northern third was part of Athabasca. Accompanying the maps is text describing the provinces, climate, resources, conditions, population, etc.
