8vo., Second Edition, with illustrated title and very numerous coloured illustrations by the author throughout; original yellow cloth upper board lettered in green, case a little loose (binding wholly sound byt fragile as often), a very good, bright copy in dustwrapper, the latter chipped at head and tail of backstrip and lightly dust-soiled on (predominantly white) rear panel. This is the first coloured edition, and the only version practically obtainable since the original edition (with monochrome illustrations) was almost entirely destroyed during the Blitz. A fragile but acceptable copy of a scarce work in very good dustwrapper.
