Descrizione

- This letter is a beautiful document of Adam's activism and her close relationship to Pierre Loti, whose literary career she supported immensly. It was written from her famous estate L'Abbaye in Gif-sur-Yvette that she had acquired in 1882. - On stationery with lithogr. letterhead of Adam's journal La Nouvelle Revue. With recipient's notes in pencil. - With a vertical fold and three staple holes. Minimally dusted.
