First edition, the Francis W. Peabody copy. Peabody was a member of the old and established Boston familiy and important Harvard Medical School professor and research scientist. Extensively illustrated all throughout in black and white with reproductions of programs and nearly every theatrical shingle from every important performance in the Club's history to the time of publication. 4to, publisher's original red buckram, the upper cover with Hasty Pudding Club insignia in gilt, the spine gilt lettered, t.e.g. 35pp, programs unpaginated. A fine copy, the prelims only a touch mellowed, the cloth toned a bit on the spine and with light bumping to the corners.
