Folio (400 x 285 mm), illustrated with 31 fine lithographic plates (mostly being chromolithographic or tinted examples - the majority prepared by Edwin Burgess, copied from drawings by Sir Robert Carswell), illustrations in the text, cont. brown half morocco, upper joint cracked. A beautifully illustrated atlas of pathology. Complete sets of the 12 fascicules published between 1877-1898 are now significantly rare. List of fascicules: 1. Diseases of the Kidney. 2. A resume of the present knowledge of renal pathology. 3-5. Diseases of the Liver. 6. Hydatid disease of the Liver.
